“ಭಾರತ ನನ್ನ ದೇಶ, ಬಾರತಿಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನ ಸೋದರ-ಸೋದರಿಯರು. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅದರ ಸಂಪದ್ಬರಿತವಾದ ಪರಂಪರೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಪಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ದೇಶದ ಯೋಗ್ಯ ನಾಗರಿಕನಾಗಲು ಸದಾ ಶ್ರಮೀಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿ-ತಂದೆಯರನ್ನು, ಗುರು ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೌಜನ್ಯದಿಂದ ವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ದೇಶ ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ನಿಷ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಡಿಪಾಗಿಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಅವರ ಒಳಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಸುಖ ಸಂತೋಷ ಅಡಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.”
